Dead Artist Series

The Dead Artist Series was created as part of a refresh to the Wigu Studios brand. This series promotes rising artists by reviewing them side-by-side in an online Gallery with famous dead artists. The goal is to legitimize the rising artist's work and subtly delegitimize the dead artist's work in every Instagram post, challenging the traditional system of the art world.

For this project, I strategically gathered images from both groups of artists on a weekly basis. I then curated them into online galleries using Photoshop. Each pair of images are placed into an IG carousel where they seamlessly slide through to the next as if you are walking through a gallery.
